Each of our YottaVault customers receives a 256-bit encryption code created randomly to ensure the security of their data. This code is mandatory to access and recover your guarded data and essential to unencrypt data from the exceptionally secure AES256 encryption.
AES256 Encryption Code ensures your data is secure while at your site, during transfers and while at rest in our world class data centers. Without this encryption code, data will be retrievable, but not read due to its encryption, therefore, the security of the encryption code is extremely critical.
Many customers desired a safe backup copy of their code as a precautionary measure in their standard procedures. Created to maintain a duplicate copy of their encryption code, YottaSafe serves as a location to offer additional protection and security to defend the confidentiality of your vital data.
How Does it Work?
Upon request, a customer’s encryption codes are placed in a fireproof, water tight, heavy gauge steel constructed bank vault within our primary data center. A copy of the code is placed in an envelope by the customer, signed on the inside and sealed by the customer. Yotta280 places the envelope in the secured vault in our data center. If the encryption codes are ever needed, the business simply contacts us and we provide them with the sealed envelope containing the codes. There fee for this service is minimal. |
